The ECMWF model suggests we will see plenty of tropical moisture (shown here as precipitable water) moving in from the Gulf of Mexico over Southern Texas. Not expecting this system to develop above tropical depression strength (however those along the coast should monitor this system closely). It is expected that this elongated area of disturbed weather over the Gulf will bring plenty of rain to many areas of South Texas.
