After 3 years of waiting our madder root is ready to harvest. This root has been used for centuries as a natural dye source. The dye extracted from the root can produce a range of colors, from oranges, pinks to deep reds. In our latest eco printing session, we used the madder root fresh so it provided a peachy/orange color. I love the pigments that we extracted from the various leaf sources.
