Hurricane Melissa Update: Notice Melissa has already passed the West border of the island. She continues to move NW. At some point in the very near future, Melissa will "feel" a trough digging down and will turn abruptly to the Northeast. Once this happens, she will pick up forward speed and accelerate toward Jamaica, Cuba and eventually the Bahamas. Some folks are asking is there ANY way the storm won't turn.
