Between 1985 and 1990, the @ibmxf World Championships featured both Superclass and Pro Class—Superclass mostly had top European riders, while Pro was dominated by Americans. A few Euros and Aussies would test their luck in Pro. In this clip, France’s Eric Minozzi wins Superclass at the 1989 Worlds in Australia (on an S&M). He was basically the Christophe Leveque before Christophe Leveque—full of style and talent. In 1990, Minozzi moved up to Pro and finished second behind Pistol Pete Loncarevich
