Ketch Secor purchased his first musical instrument, the mouth harp, on a school field trip in the fourth grade. He used it in a school play, which was his first time on the stage. Critter Fuqua learned to play the electric guitar first. He loved playing the blues. Ketch and Critter met when they were thirteen years old and started making music together very soon after.
