The North Face Renewed program keeps apparel in circulation longer. We repair and wash worn or damaged items so they can explore again, reducing the amount of textiles ending up in landfills every year. By making the choice to re-imagine the lifecycle of our products, we've been able to prevent over 112,000 lbs of textile waste from being put in landfills. Last year, we partnered with The Renewal Workshop to give new life to previously worn, returned, and damaged clothing. We take the items to our centers, where they are repaired, washed and tuned up. To date, our partnership has diverted 38,777 lbs of textile waste from landfills, saved the energy equivalent of 7,181 lightbulbs, and saved enough water to fill 31 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
