Some days you just want to be seen and not herd... The largest cattle species in the world, gaur weigh up to 2,200 pounds, and eat mainly grasses supplemented by leaves, tree bark and other browse. They use their large, rough, prehensile tongues to grab and tear leaves and bushes. These big bovines also have their own built-in insect repellent – their sweat!
