Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz will face Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper at the US Open in New York after the mixed doubles event was completely revamped for 2025

The main singles draw at the US Open does not start until this weekend but the mixed doubles are already well underway. The first round of matches took place last night with Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz teaming up on the court. They were dumped out in the very first round by Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula, who progressed to the semi-finals.

Emma Raducanu was last seen in action at the Cincinnati Masters, where her run was ended by World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in the third round. In the tournament, she worked with Francisco Roig, the former coach of 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal.
