Police arrested 42-year-old Craig Poorthunder in connection with the fatal shooting of a man early on Nov. 15 at a north Phoenix apartment complex, officials said. At around 2 a.m., officers responded to calls of a shooting near 19th and Northern avenues, according to Sgt. Rob Scherer, a spokesperson for the Phoenix Police Department.
Around 6 p.m., Phoenix Police responded to the area near Dunlap Avenue and Interstate 17 for reports of a shooting. When they arrived on the scene, they found a man who had been shot. Police said he was suffering from life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
