New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has acquired offensive lineman Luke Fortner from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for defensive tackle Khalen Saunders pending completion of player physicals.
Khalen Saunders is welcoming a change of scenery. A two-time Super Bowl champion nose tackle with Kansas City, Saunders was traded from New Orleans to Jacksonville on Sunday and made his practice debut with the Jaguars two days later.
