NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has dismissed security concerns over the company’s H20 chips, saying they pose no national risk to China and that continued sales would benefit both sides. His remarks follow reports that NVIDIA has slowed development of the H20 after Beijing urged domestic firms to avoid the chip.

TAIPEI (Reuters) -Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang arrived in Taipei on Friday to visit chip foundry partner TSMC, as the world's most valuable company navigates rising friction between Washington and Beijing over access to its industry-leading AI chips.

The tech giant is reportedly working on a new chip based on its latest Blackwell architecture that will be more powerful than a model currently greenlit for sale to China.
