Ahead of the Cowboys' preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday, Blue feels ready to roll and make his NFL debut after sitting out since Aug. 7 with a bruised ankle/foot injury he suffered at training camp in Oxnard, California.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said on Monday that Blue was progressing from an ankle injury earlier this month. He said he was optimistic that Blue would make his preseason debut against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday. Tuesday’s open practice at The Star in Frisco added even more optimism to that possibility.
