Behind three high-priced veterans, the Vikings had a group of young defensive linemen that Harrison Phillips said this summer would be able to help him stay healthy. Instead, that group made Phillips expendable.

The New York Jets reportedly added a veteran presence to their defensive tackle rotation Wednesday by trading for Harrison Phillips.

Phillips being traded away also frees up $7.4 million in salary cap space for the 2025 NFL season.
