Lando Norris revealed the extent of his injuries after the McLaren F1 star was caught in a minor incident during his post-race celebrations at Silverstone. The 25-year-old became the 13th British driver to win their home grand prix,

The lead car can dictate the pace of the restart, but Piastri was pinged by race stewards for "suddenly" braking. He received a 10-second time penalty, which he served during a pitstop. As a result, McLaren teammate Lando Norris took the race lead and went on to claim victory in his home Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri aims to use the “frustration” he feels at the penalty which cost him victory at the British Grand Prix as motivation to win more races as he chases the F1 title.
