DETROIT — The White Sox have become quite adept at the late-game rally. They trailed by a run in the seventh inning Sunday before Will Robertson singled to tie the score. In the eighth inning with the bases loaded, the Sox grabbed a two-run lead on a single by Lenyn Sosa, who had hit his 20th home run in the third.

Lenyn Sosa homered and drove in three runs as the Chicago White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers 6-4 on Sunday afternoon.

The date was Aug. 6, 2023, and the White Sox rallied to beat Cleveland at Progressive Field with a trio of two-out runs in the ninth inning erasing a one-run deficit.
