Unless you’re using the GIF option to add one to your Instagram story from Gboard, you don’t have many options. However, you can always convert a GIF to a video and upload it that way.

You take a great photo, crop it, and then realize it looks totally wonky when you upload it to Instagram Stories. Now that problem's about to be a thing of the past. Bless up.

Once you’ve got a GIF converted to video, simply open Instagram, and then find the video in your camera roll. Then, you can upload it and edit it further, if you choose.
