Need for Speed is the ultimate racing game franchise. Admittedly, the series has lost some of its shine over the last decade or so, causing new releases to not feel as special as they once did.

As someone who adored his childhood in the 2000s, nothing brought me more raw and unfiltered joy than playing the countless Need For Speed games, whether on my PS2, PSP, or even my older cousins' PC.
