President Donald Trump is due to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, along with a number of European leaders, in Washington D.C. later on Monday.

Trump holds calls with Nato leaders and Zelensky, after telling journalists "we didn't get there" on an agreement on the war in Ukraine.

The head of the European Union's executive branch says this was at Zelenskyy's request. As Cristian Benavides explains, Zelenskyy is looking to avoid a repeat of that infamous February meeting he had with Trump in the Oval Office.

Trump will meet the Ukrainian leader, along with several European heads of state and the NATO Secretary-General, on Monday.
