Google on Wednesday unveiled a new line-up of Pixel smartphones injected with another dose of artificial intelligence that's designed to do everything from fetch vital information stored on the devices to help improve photos as they're being taken.

Alphabet’s Google introduced on Wednesday a new lineup of Pixel smartphones and gadgets, intensifying its efforts to embed artificial intelligence across a wide ecosystem of products. The products were launched at the annual "Made by Google" event held in New York that diverged from its typical format to emphasize mainstream consumer appeal over technical details.

"AI itself is going to be gone by the time you finish a Ph.D.," Jad Tarifi, the founder of Google's first generative AI team, said.

Google’s Pixel 10 phones, to be released Aug. 28, have AI features that can help you take better photos and edit images in response to text or voice commands.

"Through interactive demos and challenges, the next generation of athletes learned how our technology can help them elevate their game," Google said.
