Cracker Barrel joins Target, Bud Light and other companies facing public outcry over corporate decisions as its new logo change triggers investor unease.
“Cracker Barrel is nostalgia for many, especially customers in the South and Midwest who feel ownership and pride over the brand,” Williams told Fortune. “For a brand that hasn’t changed its logo since 1977, even small changes to a symbol so tied to Americana can feel magnified.”
Fall is near, and grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops are revamping shelves and menus to include all things pumpkin spice, gooey cinnamon baked goods, and apple spice delights. From desserts to lattes and all the new candy, there’s no shortage of opportunities to enjoy fall flavors.
