At long last, Unity has shipped version 4.6 of its visual game development system — and with it, the long promised UI editor.

Thanks to Unity's new XR Interaction Toolkit, developers don't need to reinvent the wheel for simple VR and AR interactions.

But starting with Ubuntu 11.04, GNOME was replaced with the Unity user interface which was built by the Ubuntu developers.
