The current wintry weather is expected to continue into next week, with parts of the UK dropping to an extremely cold -8C.
As the UK goes through a cold snap this week - forecasters have suggested that more Arctic air could be brought to Britain early in December.
The cold snap has prompted several yellow weather warnings, along with a more severe amber warning in North Yorkshire.
