The Trump administration dialed up its pressure on Harvard University Wednesday, threatening the school’s accreditation and formally subpoenaing it for records related to enrollment of international students.

The Department of Homeland Security announced on Wednesday that it is subpoenaing Harvard University for international student records as the Ivy League institution battles the Trump administration’s ban on foreign students in court.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused Harvard of allowing "foreign students to abuse their visa privileges and advocate for violence and terrorism on campus."
