At least one person was killed and 10 others were wounded after a shooting broke out at a party of high school-age kids in Indiana on Saturday night, according to police.

Police say preliminary information and witness accounts say that the shooting took place during a high school party. Multiple partygoers were struck, and one was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say at this time, they do not know how many suspects were involved in the shooting.

The shooting began just before 10 p.m. Saturday near State Street and Black Avenue where the rides for the festival were set up, less than a block from the Ohio River and the Indiana-Kentucky
