A Powerball player in Texas won $50,000, just missing the $175 million jackpot. The ticket matched four winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, July 2, the Texas Lottery said. The lucky ticket was sold at H-E-B in Katy, about a 30-mile drive west from Houston, according to lottery officials.
