The Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, has expressed concern over the abduction of 25 students from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The directive, Dare added, extends beyond Kwara to parts of Kebbi and Niger States, where several mass abductions in recent days have triggered widespread alarm and urgent calls for government action.
The directive was issued by the state Commissioner of Higher Education, Alhaji Issa Tunga, in Birnin Kebbi. The decision follows a surge in security challenges, which has led to widespread concern across the region.
