A man who broke into a home in southwest suburban Joliet late Friday night was fatally shot by a woman inside the home.

JOLIET, Ill. ( WGN) – A woman shot and killed a man who reportedly broke into her Joliet home Friday night. The Joliet Police Department said just before 10:30 p.m., officers were sent to a home located in the 7000 block of Hadrian Drive to investigate reports of a home invasion.
