Rookie quarterback Drake Maye's calm response to a third-down blitz was a key to the New England Patriots' getting out to a 7-0 lead after their first possession of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.

Drake Maye got the Patriots off to a hot start in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars but still shouldered the blame for some of the team’s shortcomings.

The rookie quarterback said a fast start was in offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt’s game plan, but the team needs to figure out how to sustain that momentum.
