With time running out, Barcelona is reportedly ready to request another away game in the league. According to Sport, Barcelona has asked La Liga to make matchday 4 against Valencia an away game for them. The club wants the match to be played at Mestalla Stadium so the reverse fixture in May can be played at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Barcelona played the entire 2023-24 season at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Montjuic, about 4km from the Camp Nou, a ground that has around 40,000 fewer seats than the old Camp Nou.
